Terms of Use – TransferHop

The TransferHop mobile application allows users to make immediate or scheduled transport bookings via smartphone. By using the app, you unconditionally accept the following terms and conditions.

1. Nature of the Service

TransferHop operates as a mediation platform that connects passengers with transportation service providers. It does not own, operate, or manage vehicles, nor does it employ drivers. The responsibility for the transport service lies solely with the provider (driver or vehicle owner).

2. Limitation of Liability

The company bears no responsibility for:

  • The safety or quality of any transport service

  • Accidents, delays, or cancellations

  • Loss, damage, or theft of items

  • Disputes or financial disagreements between passengers and providers

3. Payments

TransferHop is not financially involved in the transaction between the passenger and the driver. The fare is paid directly to the driver or the vehicle owner.

4. Data Collection and Protection

The company collects and processes personal data for the following purposes:

  • To provide and improve the service

  • To support and assist users

All data:

  • Is securely stored

  • Is not shared with third parties

  • Is permanently deleted upon account deletion

  • Is handled in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)

5. Use of Cookies

The app may use cookies or similar technologies to analyze usage and offer a personalized experience. Users are informed and asked to accept the use of cookies upon first access to the app.

6. Intellectual Property

All content of the application, including but not limited to:

  • Logos, texts, graphics, user interface, and functionalities

Is the intellectual property of TransferHop, KoniWeb – JOHNALEX EE or its legal licensors and is protected under Greek and European intellectual property law.

Reproduction, modification, or distribution of this content is prohibited without prior written consent from the company.

7. Usage Restrictions

Users agree not to use the app:

  • For the purpose of deceiving, misleading, or harassing other users or providers

  • To collect or extract data without authorization

  • In ways that disrupt the service or violate applicable laws

The company reserves the right to suspend or delete accounts that violate these terms.

8. Modifications to the Terms

TransferHop may modify these terms at any time. Changes take effect upon publication in the app or on the website. Continued use of the service implies acceptance of the updated terms.

9. Final Provisions

If any term is deemed invalid or unenforceable, the remaining terms shall remain in full force and effect.

These terms are governed by Greek law.
Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Athens, Greece.
